You see that your sentiments, I don't care about it.

Igbo man this, Igbo man that, don't bring that near me.

You see Ekweremadu and his wife, I don't have pity for them.

The only person I feel some pity for is their sick daughter.

But then I say, if she had advised her father properly, instead of keeping silent and enjoying his "loot" while he and his cohorts destroyed Nigeria, she wouldn't be in the situation she finds herself today.

Ike Ekweremadu was Deputy Senate President for how many years?

You check am.

His convoy alone, which included bulletproof and even bombproof SUVs for his personal comfort, was worth more than ₦1billion at each point within those years he was Deputy Senate President.

Ekweremadu controlled a budget to his office, almost like that of a State and his security vote was bigger than that of a state governor and we all know what the security votes of governors look like.

In those years he served as Senate Deputy President, Ekweremadu sat on over ₦200billion.

Yet, not one day did he think about the Nigeria medical sector.

Not one day did he care about the mass exodus of Nigerian doctors and the fact that ordinary Nigerians didn't have access to proper Medicare.

How much would it have cost Ekweremadu to set up a hospital, equipped enough to handle kidney issues in Enugu where he has represented the people for about sixteen years and was planning to become their governor before his ordeal began?

Even the cost of his convoy and the vehicles attached to it would have solved that problem, but Ekweremadu chose the police security and the sirens that chased people away over the wellbeing and health of Nigerians, not knowing God would put him in similar position.

To run a Governorship race in Nigeria no be beans.

You'll budget money to bribe delegates, money to hire thugs and Ndi akpu obi, money to buy votes and voters, money to buy INEC and money to buy the judiciary maka nde ga aga court.

Ekweremadu knew all that before showing interest in becoming governor and had the money for that which was running into over ₦50billion, yet he didn't have money to set up the best kidney transplant hospital in Enugu for the benefit of all Nigerians.

This is exactly the kind of "leaders" we have.
A few years ago, a friend of mine based abroad who is into medical equipment, came back to Nigeria and after visiting several laboratories in Owerri and accessing the equipment they use, wondered how we are still alive.

Thinking Abuja would be better, he visited National Hospital and only had pitiful tales to tell me after he inspected the equipment they serve Nigerians with.

At a time, they even wanted him to give them obsolete equipment at the price of up-to-date equipment but he rejected their corruption.

Yet, Ekweremadu was there as Deputy Senate President and was part of that system.

Today it is Ekweremadu, tomorrow who knows who it would be?

If Buhari after ruling Nigeria for eight years, wants to run away to Niger Republic, what hope is left for the common man with the leaders we have today?

One of the reasons I preferred Peter Obi and even Bola Tinubu over Atiku is the fact that both men are almost always in Nigeria while Atiku would have ruled us from Dubai.

Unfortunately, Tinubu have suddenly started following Buhari's footsteps and we're now hearing stories from London.

I don't pity the Ekweremadus, they were part of the problem that brought us to where we are today.

My prayer is that may their cohorts who do not have the best interest of the common masses at heart, also fall into the same pit they have dug for us like the Ekweremadus have just now fallen into.

Thunder wey no get brake go fire all of una wey dey use the suffering of the common Nigerian dey catch cruise. As you want us to suffer and die, your children and grandchildren will suffer everything you wish on us.

I don't pity the Ekweremadus.

If e dey pain you because of your stupid sentiments, go hug transformer...
